Darien’s Tiny Miracles to hold inaugural holiday gift show with guest speaker Emme

On Wednesday Nov. 29, The Tiny Miracles Foundation will host its inaugural holiday gift show.  This is a free event, open to the public, and over 30 vendors will be located at Wee Burn Country Club in Darien.  The first-ever event will kick off with a VIP luncheon featuring guest speaker, Emme.   Tickets to this portion of the event can be purchased at www.ttmf.org or call 203-202-9714. Only 100 tickets will be sold for the lunch and private pre-sale hour to the show.  Proceeds from the “Gift a Miracle” Event will benefit The Tiny Miracles Foundation.

For over two decades as a leading voice and face in the fashion industry, Emme is the world’s first curvy supermodel.

A television personality, model, mom, author, brand spokesperson, creative director of her clothing lines, cancer survivor, and lecturer, Emme is a  globally recognized women’s advocate for positive body image and self-esteem. She is the first model invited to speak before a Congressional subcommittee in Washington, D.C. with a mission to increase public awareness of eating and body image disorders.

Emme has twice been selected to People Magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People” and Ladies’ Home Journal chose her as one of the “Most Important Women in America” and one of the “Most Fascinating Women of the Year.” She has also been honored as one of Glamour magazine’s “Women of the Year” and as one of Biography magazine’s “25 Most Influential Women.” Emme is the current past chair ambassador to the National Eating Disorders Association, honorary board member to Project Heal, and donates her time to the Girl Scouts of America.

In addition, Emme has authored four other books, True Beauty, Life’s Little Emergencies, co-author of Morning Has Broken and co-author of her children’s book What Are You Hungry For?

The Tiny Miracles Foundation is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and assistance to pre-term infants and their families in greater Fairfield County, and to enhancing the critical and family-centered care provided by our local neonatal intensive care units (NICUs).
